Kickstart Bristol

Jenny Wilkes News

The Employment Support team is helping young people into work with Kickstart Bristol!

Kickstart is a government initiative to provide work experience for young people aged 16-24 to help them with the work skills they need to move into the world of work. The placements are funded by the government so employers’ costs are covered. Participants will be provided with employment support which the ESL team can provide on behalf of the employers through Community Learning.

If you or your organisation could host a 6-month work experience placement for a young person, please see more details here: https://ways2work.org.uk/kickstart-bristol/

Young people will be able to apply for a placement through their DWP work coach once the placements have been set up.
