How you’ll make a difference
This is an exciting opportunity to gain excellent skills and experience within the Bristol Support Services team that works within Bristol City Council as a central support function. As an apprentice you will provide a wide range of administrative and data support to Council teams, helping us improve in order to meet the needs of Bristol citizens.
What will you be doing?
The successful candidates will provide typical administrative and data support to a number of differing teams in the Business Support Service (BSS) over the course of their apprenticeship. Within BSS there are 15 teams providing important local services. Currently opportunities for successful candidates exist to work within Finance, Legal, Development Management, Meetings and Events, Benefits, Parking Permits, Highways and Traffic Adult Social Care, Housing and Fostering and Adoption.
Things we need you to know:
In the past apprentices in Customer Services and Business administration have progressed into HR, Finance, Projects and this can include gaining additional qualifications funded by the council.
