Collaborative Working Award win for WorkWell West
WorkWell West has won the Collaborative Working Award at the South West Integrated Personalised Care Awards.
The award was presented at Wells Town Hall on Wednesday 26 November 2025, recognising the power of partnership and person‑centred support across the region.
Supporting people back into work
WorkWell West is a return‑to‑work programme that helps people with health conditions to stay in work or return to employment. The service brings together 16 local voluntary and community organisations, offering tailored support such as coaching, physical rehabilitation workshops and wellbeing sessions.
This joined‑up approach helps people overcome health and work‑related barriers and thrive in roles that suit them.
Celebrating true collaboration
The Collaborative Working Award celebrates organisations delivering integrated, personalised care through strong partnerships. Judges praised WorkWell West for its shared vision and real‑world impact, saying:
“WorkWell West stood out for its ability to unite partners around a shared vision and deliver real change for individuals and communities.”
WorkWell West is one of 15 national pilots, delivered by NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Bristol City Council, working closely with local health organisations, authorities, the West of England Combined Authority and the VCSE sector.
What our partners say
