What is the event?
Join us for the Birch Collective Summer Party – a relaxed outdoor evening for young people aged 16–25 who are interested in nature, community, creativity and celebrating the summer season together.
The event has been designed and will be hosted by young people from Birch Collective’s Fresh Air Thursdays, our weekly nature-based wellbeing and land-skills group at Strawberry Lane Community Garden.
There will be friendly hosts there to welcome people in, so you can come on your own or bring a friend. You do not need to know anyone already, and you do not need any experience with Birch or outdoor activities.
Expect a warm, low-pressure evening with:
- Food provided
- Music, fire and games
- Creative activities and gentle workshops
- Space to meet new people and spend time outdoors
Three things young people can get out of the event:
- A chance to meet new people in a friendly, welcoming and low-pressure space.
- A relaxed outdoor evening with food, music, fire, games and creative activities.
- An introduction to Birch Collective, including our free Fresh Air Thursdays sessions for young people aged 16–25.
Do I need to already be part of Fresh Air Thursdays to come?
No — you do not need to be part of Fresh Air Thursdays already. This event is open to anyone aged 16–25 who would like to come along.
That said, we do recommend checking out our free Fresh Air Thursdays sessions if you’d like to meet people before the party, spend time outdoors, and connect with nature in a relaxed group setting.
