Are you considering an apprenticeship?

Apprentice roles are available in a wide range of industries and at a variety of levels. They involve learning “on the job” and time spent studying towards a qualification with a training provider.

You also get paid whilst you learn.

Here’s a quick guide to apprenticeship levels –

Level 2 (Intermediate) = GCSE equivalent
Level 3 (Advanced) = A-Level equivalent
Levels 4-7 (Higher) = Degree equivalent

There are currently over 100 apprenticeship roles in and around Bristol being advertised on the Government’s “Find An Apprenticeship” webpage.

All vacancies will have their own entry requirements, start dates, durations, specialised job descriptions and training providers, so ensure you check each one before you apply!

GCSE requirements = Maths and English (grade 3-9)

Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship – Level 2

In house experience with Jhoots Healthcare
Training provided by I & F LIMITED
GCSE requirements = Maths and English (grade 4) – Functional Skills can be studied if necessary
Start date = Saturday 17 May 2025

Barbering Apprenticeship – Level 2

RAF Sports/Physical and Training Instructor Apprenticeship – Level 3

Applicants also need to complete a Swim Test and a Health and Fitness assessment
