Calling all entrepreneurs!
Have you heard of the Business & IP Centre (BIPC)?
They can support you if you want to start or develop a small business!
The BIPC are based in several libraries around Bristol: Central Library, Knowle Library, and Southmead Library.

Through the BIPC, you can also access their digital resource, COBRA. It can be accessed with a library card at home or in the library through the website: Free access to business databases at our libraries.
COBRA has a huge list of “Business Opportunity Profiles” with details of training courses, legal considerations and everything you need to do to start up as self-employed etc. There are Profiles as diverse as artisan biscuit maker, toymaker, contract cleaner, driving instructor and tourist guide!
This is a great tool for anyone who is wondering how to set up in business and considering what opportunities might be available to them. If you would like a quick demonstration of the resource, or have any questions, do get in touch – BIPC are based in the Central Library on College Green.
