16-18 ESOL provision at Bath College

IMPACT English evening classes for refugees and migrants from outside the EU
Mixed Level General English Class Wednesdays 5.30pm – 7.00pm at St Paul’s Learning Centre, Grosvenor Road, BS2 8XJ(Sep – Dec)
Class details: IMPACT classes usually focus on speaking and listening. The lessons are informal and communicative. You need to register before joining the class. Contact Person: Asia (07736 132 450) or Muna (07702 532 767) or email us at impactbristol@groundwork.org.uk
Cost of Class/Eligibility: You need to register with IMPACT to join a weekly class. Over 18s. Entry 1 and above. Classes are free to refugees and migrants (with leave to remain) from outside the EU (unfortunately not asylum seekers under our current funding arrangement). Shining Care Training Courses
From the end of September we will be running two courses: ‘Get Ready for Work’ – Job Skills & English course and Introduction to Adult Social Care. (Please find some more details below and in the poster and the leaflet that I have attached.)
OLive autumn programme
Please see, attached and below, the programme for our short-form autumn OLIve programme
This programme will include
a) A short course guiding you on applying to UK universities (3 classes)
b) A short IELTS course (3 classes)
c) Academic seminars on a variety of topics, to improve your academic English listening and speaking
d) Advice on going to university from university administrators
e) Advice on educational help from NGOs
f) Tutors who can work with you, one-to-one, on university applications.
