Unlock Your Future – An event for young creatives launching The Courts
I’m incredibly proud to share with you the first event taking place in The Courts, and as part of our 3-day launch festival between the 6th – 8th June.
Led by young people experiencing barriers to the creative industries, Bristol’s old magistrates courts, has been redeveloped by Creative Youth Network into a city-centre hub for creativity and innovation, a place for young creatives to develop creative careers, have equitable opportunities in the creative industries and have space to make and see new work alongside established professionals.
To launch the building, we’re thrilled to be hosting a creative careers event with a difference. Led by young people, for young people, Unlock Your Future is for 16 – 25 year olds to come and meet professionals, find out about opportunities and jobs, hear from guest speakers and develop their networks. Taking place on Thursday 6th June from 11am – 2pm, we’d love it if you could share this opportunity with your network and communities, spreading the word far and wide so that all young people feel welcome and able to attend. You’re also invited and welcome to attend with your community and young people should you wish to.
