Halfords: Autocare Technician Apprenticeships – September 2025
Are you interested in becoming an Auto Vehicle Technician?
Halfords are currently recruiting for 20 Autocare Technician Apprentices!
These positions will involve:
- Diagnosing and repairing vehicles to the highest industry standards
- Performing a range of tasks, from replacing simple parts to diagnosing and resolving complex faults, using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Adapting to the dynamic nature of the role, driven by the introduction of more complex technologies and diagnostic techniques
- Demonstrating strong technical and diagnostic expertise
- Showcasing your understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of vehicle systems
- Understanding how the workshop and Autocentre function from a commercial perspective
- Applying your interest in cars and problem-solving, utilising knowledge of motor vehicle maintenance
You’ll also have your choice of sites to work from:
- 237 West Street, Bedminster, Bristol, BS3 3PZ
- Downend Road Kingswood, Bristol, BS15 1SE
- Unit 3-4, Abbey Wood Business Park, Emma Chris Way, Filton, Bristol, BS34 7JU
As well as getting PAID on the job experience, you’ll also undertake some training at Bridgwater and Taunton College.
The starting date for these roles is Monday 15th September 2025.
You will earn a wage for this role and also work towards a Autocare technician (level 2) qualification.
