Youth Environmental Service – August 2025

Are you a young person struggling to find entry level work in the environmental sector?

The Youth Environmental Service (YES) is open for applications!

As part of the service, you’ll get:

• a year’s paid entry level placement with a company or employer in the West of England
• one to one coaching
• peer support networks with other trainees
• access to programme which will grow your transferrable skills

Roles are open to anyone aged 18-25 but YES are encouraging applications from those with additional barriers to participating in the environmental sector, including (but not limited to) those who are:

• Ethnically diverse/from an ethnic minority community

• Living with a disability

• Economically disadvantaged

• Geographically marginalised

There are a variety of roles available and applications are open until Sunday 17th August
