We offer apprenticeships for the private and public sectors. This includes apprenticeships for a whole range of local employers and within the Bristol City Council.

We offer Apprenticeships for local employers as well as within the Bristol City Council

The Council apprenticeship team is made up of two parts.

  • OnSite Bristol who have offer construction apprenticeships with a whole range of local employers in trades such as electrical, bricklaying, plastering and plumbing and
  • BCC Apprenticeships who coordinate the apprenticeship opportunities available within the council and all its different departments.

OnSite Bristol

On Site was set up in 1996 to help local people to get jobs and training in construction. With so much re-development of the city going on, Bristol City Council and others wanted to make sure that as many local people as possible could get the jobs on offer.

Employers who are looking to take on an apprentice now is the time to get in contact with us so we can support your organisation in taking on apprentices in the construction trade.

We have a very high success rate and are now looking for more employers to work with us.
