TEAM (16-25)
Team is our 12-week personal development and employability programme that equips you with all the skills you need to move into education or work. The course will be run face to face and includes a Level 1 Certificate in Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills. Build up your CV, boost your confidence and make new friends.
When: 1st of August (Young Gloucestershire), 22nd of August (Young Gloucestershire), 19th of September (Swindon & Trowbridge), 26th of September (Bristol & Bath)

Get into IT Support w/ Google IT Support Certificate (18-30)
The Google IT Support Professional Certificate is a flexible online course that opens the door to specialist IT training and guidance to help unlock your future career. Learn at your own pace, get hands-on experience with professional software, and build the in-demand skills you need to secure an IT support role. Young people who have completed the programme have gone onto jobs such as Data Engineers, IT Support Officer, IT Support Engineer, IT Advisor, Website Support, Client Support Apprenticeship.

Get into Security w/ Triforce (Bristol based for 18-30)
This FREE two week, face to face course will equip you with the training and qualifications needed to sit the SIA exams and have your SIA licence paid for on completion. Get your headstart in working in the security industry and support to apply for your first security job.

Get Started – Surfing (16-30)
Ever wanted to try surfing but as a complete beginner, didn’t know where to start? Then this programme is the one for you! We have joined with The Wave Bristol to give young people the opportunity to build their confidence and learn a new skill through 5 days of workshops. Learn about water safety, be inspired by water sport professionals and begin the foundations of surfing!

Get Started in Health and Social Care in partnership with BNSSG (Bristol) (18-30)
This programme will explore the range of roles on offer and prepare young people to secure a job in the Health and Social care sector as a support worker. The programme includes employability workshops in which you will learn how to perfect your interview technique and practice selling yourself to an employer as well as understanding the industry and creating a career pathway.
On the final day, you will have up to three 10-15 minute video interviews with different Health and Social Care employers recruiting for entry-level positions.

Get Started in Nature (16-30)
Are you interested in starting a career in wildlife, nature or the environmental sector? This FREE 5 day course with Avon Wildlife Trust will give you the skills to learn more about nature and how it can benefit your mental health, gain practical and face to face experience, learn about your local environment and practice identification skills. After the course you will receive up to 6 sessions of 1:1 support to help you reach your goals.

Explore (16-30)
Explore is a 3-week personal development programme which offers young people group activities and one-to-one support to help build confidence, get motivated, meet new people and identify and achieve their goals. We also develop employability and independent living skills. Young people will gain up to 6 sessions of 1:1 support after the programme to help them achieve their personal goals.

Get Into Retail (Marks & Starts) in Partnership with Marks & Spencer (16 – 25)
Receive practical training in store across this four week programme, where you will work towards securing a temporary contract with Marks & Spencer – all whilst meeting new people and learning new skills! Not only will it boost your confidence and employability prospects, but you will also have the chance to benefit from the support of one our mentors to help you uncover your next steps.

Get started with Horses (16 – 30)
This 1-week personal development programme is a fantastic opportunity for young people who are interested in getting into animal care. Working with Avon Riding Centre, you will develop skills in animal handling, build confidence and resilience and gain practical tips to support your well-being through caring for animals. Young people will gain up to 6 sessions of 1:1 support after the programme to help them achieve their personal goals.

Get started with Photography (16 – 30)
This brilliant 1-week programme will enable you to meet new people, improve your confidence and wellbeing. As well as working with and learning from industry professionals to explore the process of photography and skills required for a career in the field. By the end of the week, you will have created a portfolio for future use. 1:1 support available post programme to help you with your next steps

WELCOME DAY AT THE PRINCES TRUST BRISTOL (16-30)
Come and find out about who we are and what we do! During this welcome day you will get to familiarise yourself with the Bristol centre, the staff that work there and gain tailored support on finding out which programme would suit you best. We will also be taking part in fun group activities throughout the day and get expressive with an afternoon creative session! Lunch is provided and public transport reimbursement available.

Monthly Programmes and Opportunities
Youth Panel (16-30)
Do you want to be a part of the South West Youth panel? Working on projects, running focus groups to improve the services within the trust, making positive change in your community! The youth panel meet online every 2 weeks with face to face meetings and events being set up every few months.

Enterprise (18-30)
Do you or someone you know have a business idea? Our 4-day Enterprise course focuses on the skills you need to start a business – business planning, marketing, sales, budgeting and tax. Once you have completed the course, for the next 12 months, you will have access to 1-to-1 business mentoring, specialist workshops, grants and funding opportunities to help you turn your business idea into reality!
When: Monthly Information Sessions, with courses held once a month

Health and Social Care Mentoring (18-30)
We are offering young people who are interested in a career in the health and social care sector support from a mentor for up to six months. Mentors can help with applying for jobs and navigating applications, offering guidance, helping to create action plans or objectives, CV writing skills and interview techniques. Mentors will meet with young people virtually on a regular basis, for about an hour a week.
When: Anytime. The mentoring would be for 6 months.
Where: Virtual – over phone, email or video call (Microsoft Teams).

Development Awards (16-30)
Our Development Awards can cover the cost of course fees, tools or equipment up to £150 in order to help young people achieve their goals and move into education, training or employment. For more information, visit our website here.
Stand Alone Mentoring (16-30)
We can offer young people a mentor for up to six months. Mentors can help with applying for jobs and navigating applications, offering guidance, helping to create action plans or objectives, CV writing skills and interview techniques. Mentors will meet with young people virtually on a regular basis.

We are hosting weekly welcome sessions for young people who want to find out more information about The Prince’s Trust and our opportunities. These will be held through Microsoft Teams in a video conference format. Young people can watch the presentation and get involved as much as they want. Afterwards, a staff member will follow up 1:1 and progress them onto our programmes.
