Mentoring
We are looking for 3 motivated young people to be mentored by a relevant member of museum staff. We welcome applications from those from Global Majority ethnicity groups, low income households and who are Disabled or Neurodivergent.
- 16-25 year olds living in the Bristol City Council area

The details
- Deadline for applications – 9am Wednesday 7th August 2024
- First meeting – TBC early September 2024
- You will be matched with a relevant member of museum staff based on your application
- Meetings will be arranged at a time convenient to you and your mentor, between the times of 9am-5.30pm, Monday-Friday
- We ask for a minimum commitment of 3 months and will review places after 8 months
What to expect:
- An insight into careers at the museum and specific insight into the mentors job role
- Information, advice and guidance relevant to your career development
- Clear goal setting to help you to progress and meet your aims
- The mentor will take notes in the meeting, including discussion points and any actions, then send the Action Plan to you for you to follow up on before your next meeting
- Support and guidance from the mentor to empower you to complete the action points agreed in meetings
