Building a Future in Construction – Construction Insite
What is a Construction ‘Insite Session’?
It is a group session of between 8-12 individuals, in a 3 hour session.
Topics are aimed at painting a clear picture of what the construction industry looks like, career routes and entry points and illustrating the key character traits that lead to success in this environment.
The session will be delivered on site with Red Construction, providing a real life environment for participants.
The session is designed to be very visual, participants will see what the environment looks like, get to meet people working there and ask questions and generally get a feel for things based on what they see as well as what they hear from us.
Who is it for?:-
Insite sessions are ideal for people looking at construction as a career but would like to learn more. They have also been very successful with individuals that are either looking to change career, return to the industry or have maybe only worked with small builders on a casual basis.
There is no upper age limit and is suitable for individuals from 16+
Our Goals & Outcomes:-
We would like to support local unemployed or under-employed individuals from the Bristol region.
We believe that by inviting individuals to spend half a day with us we can help to inspire them as well as developing key social and employability skills.
Ultimately we are convinced that attending the session and engaging will improve chances of employment and will certainly give them priority for vacancies at Red Construction and Acorn.
