Our flagship On Site Bristol scheme is now in its 27th year. On Site links construction employers with local young people who work towards an apprenticeship in their chosen trade.
Each year over 100 newly qualified On- Site Bristol construction professionals enter the local workforce – supporting the economy, the infrastructure of the city and creating opportunities for more entrants to the industry.
Wednesday 14th June saw Lord Mayor of Bristol, Councillor Paul Goggin hand out awards and recognise 39 apprentices, 45 employers as well as On-Site Bristol staff and partners. Awards celebrated exceptional progress, achievement, and skills.
Employers working with On Site Bristol range from micro to multinational/plc many of whom have made long term use of apprenticeships to underpin and develop their business.
The On-Site Bristol team reaches out to all local schools each year and actively attends career advice and guidance events.
