The Prince’s Trust: Music programme
Get Started in Music w/ Irene Taylor Trust (ITT) (16-25)
Our Get Started in Music course will give you the opportunity to write, record and ultimately perform a few pieces of music. You will gain skills and knowledge from experienced professionals. The main (first) week of the course will be live instrument based, and ITT will provide instruments such as: drum kits, guitars, keyboards, bass etc.
You will learn more about the industry and gain a Bronze Arts Award Qualification. In the second week there will be 4x 1 hr 30 online music skills sessions in: DJing, production, podcasting etc. There is no expectation as to musical experience.
Following the programme, you will then be entitled to 6 sessions of 1:1 support to help you achieve your personal goals.
Taster Session: 19th January 2023 11:00 to 12:30
Main Programme: 23rd to 27th January 2023, 10AM – 4PM
4 Follow up online sessions: 30th January to 3rd February 11:00 to 12:30
