Babbasa Youth Ambassadors
The Babbasa Youth Ambassadors, known this year as the collective Youth Rise, are excited to announce a powerful and thought-provoking event, Speak Up, which will shine a spotlight on the pressing issue of youth homelessness. This event is set to inspire and galvanize the community to take action toward creating a better future for our youth.
EVENT OVERVIEW:
- Welcome Speech & Short Talks: Keynotes addressing the challenge of youth homelessness and the impact of Babbasa’s Challenge Programme.
- Guest Speakers & Panel Discussion: Experts, advocates, and young people sharing insights on how to tackle youth homelessness.
- Documentary Screening: A short documentary discussing community led housing initiatives will be shared and discussed.
- Slam Poetry: Inspirational voices and powerful spoken word performances.
- Audience Engagement: Be involved and share your thoughts on our ‘pledge wall.’
- Global Cuisine Dinner & Networking: A dinner celebrating world cuisines, offering a space for attendees to connect and discuss the event’s themes.
