National Apprenticeship Week 2021 Timetable Announced
Next week is National Apprenticeship Week and to celebrate, Bristol WORKS have developed a jam packed programme of exciting sessions and activities. The full timetable of events can be found here and includes a session with a National Careers Service adviser, a myth-busting Q&A with Burges Salmon and an opportunity to explore careers in construction with ENGIE.
On Wednesday there is a chance to virtually meet three of our apprentices at Bristol City Council (BCC) who are all at different stages of their apprenticeship journey. This is a great opportunity to learn about the sorts of apprenticeships available within the council and what you could go on to achieve through this route.
The @WORKSBristol Twitter account will be taken over by BCC apprentices Rosie and Chris on Monday and Thursday next week so make sure to give it a follow and see what a working day in the life of an apprentice looks like! You can also send us any questions by tweeting with the hashtags #AskRosieBCC and #AskChrisBCC.
We hope that this exciting and varied selection of insights will shine a light on the many benefits of apprenticeships and inspire young people in Bristol to make the right choice for them after they leave school.
If you are a student in Bristol or are a teacher who would like their class to attend any of these sessions then get in touch at works@bristol.gov.uk to register.
We look forward to sharing more details about all the activities with you including the International Virtual Work Experience being delivered in partnership with Bell Group UK!
